Is a light and breezy romantic comedy with two hot selling young stars.

The movie is a sarcastic take at the patriarchal mindsets and handles a lot of such issues in a light headed manner, like dowry, girls not having much of a choice when selecting grooms, daughters in law not being allowed to work etc .

The intention of the director however seems making an entertainer and encashing the star power & franchisee and not much hard work seems to have been put on working up a cohesive and sensible story line.

The second half meanders and sags.

The climax is too cliched.

The touch of humour keeps it going and the music just about manages to hold.

Ever reliable Varun and Alia are the ones who try their level best to make up for the lack of things. They give honest performances and make their characters loveable. Varun infuses a lot of innocence to his character . Alia too is cute as a feisty, ambitions small town girl. Together they have this innocent young chemistry that works.

Wish the script and treatment was as good as in Humpty Sharma and we would have had as good a movie .

But this one turns out to be a mediocre fare.

Do not look for too much sense and quality in script. Concentrate on the lead pair & humour and you might find it a good one time watch .

Score 6 on 10 (out of which,1 is for the lead stars)
