It’s a run of the mill ghisa pita story of boy saving his girl from the clutches of the goons and the main goon being the arch rival vying for the girl’s love. Add to it, the misunderstanding created by the girl’s dad.
Sorry for the spoiler… but there’s absolutely nothing to spoil in this outdated wafer thin story and horrible script.
It’s incredible to see that someone could do that bad a job at writing (Sanjeev Dutta .. don’t know who) and direction (Sabbir Khan… infamous Kambhaqt Ishq and bearable HeroPanti)
Performances… if they are worth calling that, are pretty bad too.
Shraddha Kapoor’s cuteness overdose is the same as that in ABCD 2 and Ek Villain. Additional feature being that she starts dancing in any and all public places as soon as it starts raining including a railway platform or a chauraha of a busy market place (no wonder the bad guy falls for her). The only thing good to her credit are the few stunts given to her.
Speaking of stunts… those are the only thing that can be called as performance even in Tiger Shroff’s role. And I pray someone teaches him to emote before signing him again. He’s worse than in HeroPanti… where he was given some benefit of doubt given his first performance.
Caricature like villains and sub plots, forgettable music and few good stunts is all that can be further written about.
The first 10 minutes of the movie were as abrupt and senseless (we don’t even know why she fell for him) as the last 10 minutes (we still didn’t know how he felled 10 floors worth of the villain’s army singlehandedly)… and everything in between was absolutely banal.
Please save your time, money and patience.
Not worth a score.
