It’s a charming little presentation of a father daughter relationship with a lot of Bengali flavour .
The story is beautifully written with nuances of healthy family relationships and squabbles in daily life ( something which we would all associate with at some point or the other in the movie )
The beauty perhaps is in the simplicity of the story telling and novelty is in the pivotal issue of bowel movements
The movie has a good content of humour with many lol moments .
The family squabbles though seem a bit repetitive in the first half (and a tad exaggerated sometimes) .
But Irfan comes as a whiff of fresh air .
Performances are good . Irfan stands out as usual . He never ceases to amaze me as to how can someone express and emote so well with even no dialogues and subtle expressions . I think he’s just par excellence as an actor and has a class of his own when it comes to sense of humour .
Wish we could have seem some more of him and Moushumi Chatterjee .
But I guess it’s a trend now for directors to get carried away while working with the legend . They can never have enough of him .
