Such excitement for the trio of Shahid, Alia and none other than Vikas Bahl… and sadly… what a bad outcome!!!

In spite of the charm put together by Alia, Pankaj Kapur and Shahid , they weren’t be able to save the movie.

When the movie started, we initially thought it has begun with a major element of spoof … then it seemed it has a different take at humour… then it seemed cute and breezy …. but when the breeze continued endlessly, we realised… alas… this is all there is and it’s going nowhere!!!

From the director’s point of view, he has been pretty experimental… with a fair mixture of animated story telling, sarcasm , spoof, caricatured characters, exaggerated dialogues.

But what falls flat is the script and the humour seems senseless at places. To sum it up .. it’s pretty boring.

The good part…

The cinematography is great. The locations and sets are picturesque and beautiful. There is that grandeur of the destination wedding… in fact a tad exaggerated and sarcastic. The music is catchy. The lead pair is looking good together and super cute.

There is that look good feel good factor .

But… the script fails miserably… and to some extent editing too… some scenes are stretched beyond patience.

There is only a limited appetite the audience has for animation, imagination and exaggeration… all of which are in too much abundance.
